Angel's Bluff is a cliff that leads down to a river in Port Charles, New York.

History

On October 7, 2016, Morgan Corinthos punches T.J. Ashford and steals Julian Jerome's car. Drew Cain (as "Jason Morgan") follows Morgan in a black SUV and calls his cell. He tells Morgan he is following behind him. Morgan is upset because he was kicked out of college for cheating on a paper. Ava Jerome had secretly switched his bipolar medication with placebos.

Julian's car explodes!

"Jason" convinces Morgan to pull off and they park at Angel's Bluff. "Jason" gets out of his car and Morgan tells him he messed up really bad this time. "Jason" convinces Morgan to also get out of the car. Morgan steps out and waves at "Jason" when suddenly there is a huge explosion from Julian's car. "Jason" runs over to where the car used to be. He goes back to his car and call in a report of an accident on Route 35 at Angel's Bluff, the cliffs overlooking the river. "Jason" says that a car was blown over the edge and is half in the water and is on fire. The driver is possibly trapped inside. He tells the person on the phone to send paramedics.

When firefighters arrive, "Jason" tells them he can't get to the driver as the car is still half in the water. He explains to a fireman what happened and that Morgan is either in the car or the river. The firefighter tells "Jason" he has a team at the river and "Jason" should get his burns checked out before he gets an infection. "Jason" calls Dante and tells him to quickly get to Angel's Bluff as it is about Morgan.

When Dante Falconeri gets to the cliff, "Jason" explains what happened. Dante is devastated. "Jason" goes to inform Sonny Corinthos who comes to the cliff with him. Sonny almost drowns in the river and is arrested. Dante is worried that Sonny hired the man who accidentally killed Morgan with a car bomb meant for Julian. Sonny is relieved of his handcuffs and Dante tells him that they found "remains". It is enough for Forensics to confirm what they already know. It is never explained what "remains" means and Morgan's body is never found. It is later revealed that Sonny's hit on Julian was canceled and Olivia Jerome had hired a man named Buzz to unknowingly plant the bomb on Julian's car. Buzz thought it was a tracking device.

On February 23, 2018, Nelle Benson called Carly Spencer several times from a pay phone at Angel's Bluff to trick Carly into thinking Morgan is alive. Carly heard an explosion on the phone and went with Jason and Dante to check out Angel's Bluff but no evidence of an explosion was found. Once the pay phone was checked out, the calls stopped.
