Art Studio and Loft was a local loft in Port Charles, New York.

History

Originally rented by Elizabeth Webber in the 90s, the Art Studio and Loft was also used by her late husband Franco Baldwin.

In 2016, Franco knocks out Tom Baker in his studio. Tom threatens to kill Franco when he wakes up in Franco's studio locked in a dog cage and wearing a dog collar. Franco stops sketching to spray Tom repeatedly with a water bottle and then threatens to shock him via the dog collar. Tom later escapes.

In 2018, Jim Harvey was interested in purchasing the loft from Franco. Franco took Harvey to the loft and planned to kill him. Harvey escaped and Drew Cain shot and killed him while he was choking Franco.

In April 2017, "Jason Morgan" and Elizabeth take Jake Webber to see Dr. Andre Maddox. After his session Jake calls Franco. The next day he shows up on Franco's doorstep and the two paint. Later on, Franco calls "Jason" and Elizabeth to get him and Jake gets mad but leaves with his parents. A couple of days later Jake has another therapy session with Dr. Maddox and then gets mad at Franco for showing his mom a drawing and runs away. He also tells Franco repeatedly that he doesn't want his parents to know anymore about the scarecrow.

In 2021, Franco took Peter August to the loft to torture him into confessing his crimes. After Franco told Peter he recorded his confession, a struggle ensued, and Franco was shot in the chest. Peter erased the recording and fled the scene. Jason arrived shortly after having tracked Franco, with Elizabeth close behind. Franco died in Elizabeth's arms, with her accusing Jason of killing him. It is later revealed that Peter killed Franco.

On January 20, 2022, Dante tells Liz that an arsonist burned down Franco's studio.

On May 20, it is revealed that Liz burned down the studio while in a fugue state.
