Dr. Bennett Devlin is a fictional character in the ABC daytime drama Port Charles.
He was portrayed by Edward Albert.
Storylines[]
When Dr. Bennett Devlin arrived in Port Charles to visit his daughter Julie Morris-Devlin, he stumbled upon an unexpected revelation. Julie's roommate was Eve Lambert, the same woman with whom he had an affair while teaching at a medical school. This truth shattered his wife Nicole, leading her to file for divorce. In response, Bennett tried to make Chris Ramsey's life difficult, as Chris had been involved with Nicole before the divorce proceedings.
Julie, however, ended her father's life using the murder methods described in Kevin Collins' book, "General Homicide."
That was the prevailing belief until Greg Cooper revealed that it was he, not Julie Devlin, who had killed Bennett and the other victims in the manner of "General Homicide." Cooper admitted this to Kevin Collins, believing Kevin was on the brink of death.
