Briana Nicole Henry is an American television actress, who portrayed Cmmr. Jordan Ashford in the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital.[1]
Life and career[]
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was the only child of a cop father and jazz mother who remarried when she was 7.[2]
A university dropout, she actually played the role of Esmeralda from 2014 to 2017 on The Young of the Restless, before Sony dropped her out of her contract.[3]
In 2018, ABC called Henry to replace Canadian Vinessa Antoine as Commissioner Jordan Ashford in the daytime soap opera General Hospital.[3]
In 2020, Henry married musician Kris Bowers.[4]
On September 14, 2021, Henry announced that she had decided to exit GH, saying that it was "time to move on." She made her final appearance on September 13, 2021.
On November 23, 2021, Henry revealed she was pregnant with her first child.[5]
On February 28, 2022, Henry gave birth and named her child Coda.[6]
