Casey Rogers and Robin Scorpio fly through the sky (1990)
In 1990, a young Robin Scorpio discovered an unusual crystal near the shores of Port Charles on Spoon Island. Unaware of its extraordinary power, Robin soon encountered an extraterrestrial entity that manifested in her mother Anna Devane's garage, assumed a human appearance, and embarked on a quest to locate the crystal.
Storyline[]

Casey dematerializes in Anna Devane's garage
On Spoon Island, Robin Scorpio is participating in a school field trip alongside her friend Rowdy when she discovers an unusual piece of glass resembling a fragment of a crystal. Robin decides to use the crystal to help her mother deal with Duke Lavery's loss. That night when the lights suddenly go out, the crystal emits a glow, leading to an extraordinary event in the garage adjacent to Robin's room, where a luminous light transforms into a human figure. The crystal facilitates the arrival of an alien, who assumes a human form. Robin encounter the alien and forms a friendship with him naming him 'Casey' while he conceals himself in their garage. Casey reveals that he hails from a planet known as "Lumina." Before Robin departs for school, she allows Casey into the house, where he inquires about the origin of the crystal. Upon learning that it came from Spoon Island, Casey expresses his urgent need to visit the location. He elaborates on the significance of retrieving the remaining pieces of the crystal, as it is essential for his survival and energy. Robin assures Casey that she will devise a plan to help him reach Spoon Island, but advises him to wait for her return. However, Casey does not heed her advice and begins to explore Port Charles independently. His sole objective is to locate the crystal and return it to his home planet, driven by a concern that humans might misuse its power and inadvertently cause harm to themselves.
Robin discovers Casey at the docks, where he appears extremely frail and in desperate need of his crystal. Casey's condition deteriorates rapidly as he expresses a longing to return "home." When Anna arrives, Robin is overwhelmed with anxiety, pleading with Anna to assist Casey. Anna departs to summon an ambulance, and shortly thereafter, Casey is admitted to the emergency room at General Hospital. While Anna attempts to comfort Robin, she insists on remaining by Casey's side, expressing his fear and desire to return home. Robin, Anna, Sean Donely, Frisco Jones, and Felicia Jones gather in the emergency room, each trying to comprehend Robin's frantic assertions that only she can aid Casey. Meanwhile, Drs. Alan Quartermaine and Harrison Davis are puzzled as they assess Casey's condition, noting that a seemingly healthy man in his thirties appears to be succumbing to the effects of old age. Barely conscious, Casey overhears Alan and Nurse Bobbie Spencer discussing an unusual issue in the laboratoryโsomething akin to a magnetic field that is disrupting their tests. Seizing an opportunity, Robin quietly enters the examination room to see Casey. In his weakened state, Casey informs her that he senses the crystal nearby, specifically in a location referred to as the "lab." Robin acknowledges this and promptly sets off to find it.
Anna seeks out Robin and pulls her back to her room, determined to uncover the truth once and for all. She demands to know who Casey is and the significance of the crystal. Robin explains that Casey requires the crystal as desperately as they need air and food. Furthermore, she reveals that Casey is not from Earth; he hails from a distant planet that cannot be observed through a telescope, known as Lumina. Upon hearing the name Lumina, Anna is taken aback, prompting questions about her knowledge of the planet. Robin insists that Casey must obtain the crystal, as he is merely trying to return home. Seizing an opportunity, Robin stealthily exits her room once more to continue her search for the crystal. Meanwhile, the crystal changes possession again when Nurse Amy Vining hands it over to a woman in the cafeteria. Fortunately, Robin learns of this and makes her way to the cafeteria, where she discreetly retrieves the crystal. She then returns to Casey's room to present it to him. At that moment, both Anna and Robin begin to believe that the magical crystal holds the key to saving Casey's life. They locate the crystal in the hospital cafeteria and deliver it to Casey, who warns Robin that it might be too late. As he absorbs energy from the crystal, Casey begins to emit a blue glow.
Amidst the unfolding events, a concerned Anna contacts Frisco at General Hospital to discuss the recent developments. Upon realizing that Robin is unaccounted for, they locate her in Casey's room, where Casey is emanating a striking blue hue as he absorbs energy from the crystal. Shocked, Frisco and Anna swiftly pull Robin away from the glowing Casey. Frisco demands the crystal, insisting, "Hand it over, Blue Boy!" Remarkably, the moment Frisco seizes the crystal, Casey's glow ceases. Frisco, infuriated and suspecting a deception, is met with Anna's insistence to listen to Robin's account. When Nurse Meg Lawson approaches the door, Anna dismisses her, aided by Casey's imitation of Alan's voice. Despite this, Frisco remains skeptical, while Anna expresses her willingness to consider Casey's perspective. Furthermore, she proposes to extricate him from the hospital and conceal the incident, fearing that the truth may never emerge otherwise. Frisco, albeit reluctantly, consents to assist. Together, he and Casey don doctor attire and stealthily navigate past the nurses' station and out of the hospital.
At the PCPD, Frisco is presented with a newspaper headline concerning Casey the alien. Subsequently, Robert Scorpio expresses his anger, though not directed at Frisco; rather, he is frustrated with Dr. Harrison Davis. It appears that Dr. Davis is responsible for leaking this information to the media following the unusual occurrences at General Hospital.
Anna, Casey, and Robin ultimately arrive at Wyndemere Castle to retrieve the final piece of the crystal which has now fallen into the hands of Cesar Faison. At Faison's behest, one of his guards presents Anna with a dress. Outraged, Anna descends the stairs in her robe to confront him about the absurdity of his intentions. She questions whether the protagonist in his narrative would don such an outfit. In response, Faison reveals the cover of his latest book, featuring a woman strikingly similar to Anna alongside a large crystal. He informs her that her choices will determine Casey's fate. Fueled by his sense of power, Faison opts to unite the three crystal pieces in his possession. Despite Anna's pleas for him to refrain, he remains unyielding. As the fragments merge, a blinding light erupts, causing both of them to be thrown to the ground.

Casey says farewell to Robin
A blackout descends upon Port Charles, causing widespread chaos. Frisco endeavors to restore calm at the Port Charles Hotel, where guests are in a frenzy, mistakenly believing an alien invasion is underway due to sensationalized reports in the tabloids. Concurrently, at Wyndermere, Casey discovers Faison and Anna lying unconscious on the floor. He cradles Anna, assuring her that he will not allow her to perish. As Anna regains consciousness, Faison also awakens. Anna persuades Faison to permit Casey to restore power to Port Charles. Subsequently, she elucidates to Faison her reasons for assisting Casey. She acknowledges his kindness and reflects that, although he claims Robin and Anna taught him about love, she believes he has imparted lessons to them as well. Faison's desire is for Anna to love him, and he gently requests that she wear a particular dress, fearing this may be their final moment together. Returning to Casey, Anna informs him that she is willing to comply with Faison's wishes if he consents to let Casey use the crystal to return home, which for now entails donning the dress. Meanwhile, Robert arrives at Wyndermere and confronts Faison with a gun. At that moment, Anna descends the stairs, urging Robert not to shoot, explaining that Faison is their only hope to assist Casey. Once alone, Anna reveals her strategy to Robert, emphasizing her desire to help Casey return home. Casey then enters, and Robert meets him for the first time. It seems Robert is captivated by the gentle demeanor of Casey, leading him to agree to collaborate with Faison to aid Casey.

Casey goes home to "Lumina"
Faison consents to honor his agreement, permitting Casey to utilize the crystal for his journey home. Casey bids farewell to Anna, Robert, and Robin, a poignant moment marked by Robin's tears as she expresses her love for him. Subsequently, Casey requests that everyone move to another room and close the door. He then activates the crystal, resulting in a spectacular display of light as he returns to Lumina. Following this, Robert instructs Faison to rewrite his book, advising him to do so far from Port Charles. He departs with Anna and Robin. However, shortly thereafter, Faison informs his bodyguard that he is not yet prepared to leave the town.
That same night, Anna encounters a TV news reporter for WLPC named Shep Casey, who is a doppelgรคnger for Casey. The two engage in a brief flirtation.
