Personal Life

Coby Ryan McLaughlin was born in Woodland Hills, California on May 17, 1976 and his nationality is American. The details of his siblings or parents are mysterious.

McLaughlin spent most of his early days in Woodland Hills and he eventually enrolled in the Pennsylvania State University where he graduated with honors.

He has a daughter named Nico Rose who he loves very much and always posts on how sweet she is, photos of her and content like that.

Career

Coby Ryan McLaughlin first began his career in acting and appeared in a 1999 episode of the TV series, The X-Files. He later continued his acting journey in the TV series, The Women's Murder Club in 2007, later appearing in the TV show Back to You. In 2008, he landed a role in the sitcom Two and a Half Men. Subsequently, he also appeared in other films and TV shows like Eli Stone (2009) and CSI: New York (2010). His role in the comedy You Again in 2010 bought him popularity. He also had acting credits in TV like Parenthood (2014), The McCarthys (2015), NCIS (2017), plus many others like Graceland, Kingdom, The Crossing, and much more.

McLaughlin recently had a stint on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless, playing the role of Andrew Lynford in 2018.

On December 27, 2018, McLaughlin joined the cast of General Hospital in the mysterious role of Hank, a man from Drew Cain's (Billy Miller) mysterious past. His character Hank was eventually revealed to also be a cult leader named "Shiloh" in early 2019.

Aside from acting, McLaughlin also has a music career and is a singer in the band The Cowboy Killers, but he had to take a break from the band due to his commitment to GH.

On September 17, 2019, McLaughlin confirmed in a podcast You May Have Seen that the producers decided to let him go from GH since his character became too diabolical and nasty despite originally signing a three-year contract back in 2018. McLaughlin thanked GH for the opportunity and understood the producers' decision. He made his last appearance on GH on September 26, 2019.
