Croton-on-Hudson (commonly referred to as Croton) is a real town in Westchester County, New York, in which a fictionalized version is shown on General Hospital and featured in several storylines.

On April 4, 2018, Mike Corbin, who had Alzheimers, tells his son, Sonny Corinthos as his grandson, Michael Corinthos is recording them, "The field at Croton. I know." Michael is confused about this phrase and Sonny claims he doesn't know what Mike is talking about.
On April 6, Sonny confided to Jason Morgan that Joe Scully had ordered an 18-year-old Sonny to kill a man who had betrayed the mob. Sonny had carried out the hit -- his first -- then Sonny had buried the body in Croton. Sonny was sure Mike wasn't there but is concerned what he might say.
On April 12, Sonny tells Max Giambetti about what his dad said about Croton. He explains what Joe had him do and his concerns with Mike. Max wants to go to Croton and dig up the body. Sonny doesn't want to draw attention. He plans to ask his father what he remembers and who else knows about Croton.
On May 10, Sonny has Milo Giambetti drive to Croton to check the area where the body is buried. Max tells Sonny that Milo said the field is still empty but construction is set to begin in the area.
On May 11, Sonny and Jason drive to Croton to move the body in case Mike had been talking about it to others. Since Sonny had buried the gun used on the hit with the body, he is concerned that fingerprints could be taken from it. Sonny and Jason were shocked when they discovered an empty grave except for a money clip buried in the ground. Sonny remembers it belonging to the man he killed. Jason thinks the gun and body were moved.
On June 15, Mike recalled learning about Joe Scully's order and following Sonny to Croton the night that Sonny had killed the man. Mike had waited until Sonny had left the burial site then dug the body up but he forgets what happened after that.
On July 5, Mike tells Sonny that he buried the body under the foundation of his friend Charlie Delaney's pub.
On September 10, Mike fears that the police would find the body 20 years later and he decided to destroy the skeleton and the gun by tampering with the gas line in Charlie's Pub. Mike's plan failed because it unearthed the skeleton instead. The police considered him a prime suspect in the murder because he had caused the explosion.
On September 11, it's revealed that Margaux's father was somehow involved in the mob and he was killed because of it.
On September 21, it's revealed that thirty years ago her father, Vincent Marino, was Joe Scully's criminal defense lawyer and that he was killed by Sonny before being buried in Croton under orders from Joe.
On September 24, it is revealed Sonny killed Margaux's father Vincent and buried him in Croton.
On October 1, Mike tells Jason and Sonny's wifeCarly Spencer that he remembers throwing the gun that Sonny used to kill Vincent into the Hudson River on his way back to Charlie's Pub.
On October 29, it is revealed that Margaux's mother Jeanette Marino was having an affair with Joe Scully and that Jeanette is responsible for Vincent's death. Jeanette had ordered Joe in a letter to kill Vincent which is why Joe gave Sonny the order to kill Vincent.
On November 5, Margaux accused Sonny of killing her father but he pointed out that she couldn't pursue legal charges against Sonny without charging her mother in the crime.
On November 12, Sonny has a flashback of shooting Vincent as a young boy in a Brooklyn alley in 1985.
