David Rupel

David Rupel is an American writer, who served as Associate Head Writer, Breakdown Writer, and Script Writer for the ABC soap opera General Hospital.

Biography[]

Rupel served as a breakdown writer for General Hospital from 1999 to 2001. Following a period at Guiding Light, he briefly returned to General Hospital in 2012 and again from 2016 to 2017. In 2020, he rejoined the GH team as a staff writer and departed in 2024. He has also been an executive producer for Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Trivia[]

Rupel disclosed in a Facebook post that writing for daytime television is now predominantly conducted remotely.
