Storylines
On December 30, 2019, Sonny asks his bodyguard, Gio, for a favor. He wants to know what secret Carly is hiding from him. Carly meets with Jax at the pier. Gio eavesdrops around the corner as Carly tells Jax that she’s dealing with a lot right now. He hugs her and says he’ll always be there for her. They spot Brad and Jax decides to leave. Brad starts to complain to Carly about how Nelle is responsible for his problems. When Julian shows up at the pier, Carly goes. Gio was about to leave too but continues to eavesdrop as Julian warns Brad to stay away from Nelle. Gio returns to Sonny and reports on Carly and Jax’s meeting as well as the discussion that Brad and Julian had.
On January 7, 2020, Sonny Corinthos learns from Gio that one of his trucks has been hijacked.
On February 4, 2020, Gio is sent as protection to watch over Sam and Scout at Kelly's after the three ambushes against Sonny’s family. Finn walks over and starts to talk to Sam but Gio tries to stop him. Sam lets Gio know that Finn is a friend.
