Dr. Julie Morris-Devlin, MD is a fictional character in the ABC daytime drama Port Charles.
She was played by Lisa Ann Hadley from June 1997 to June 15, 2000 and December 24 and 26-28, 2001.
Storylines[]
After their plane crashed, Lucy Coe and Scott Baldwin found love again and eventually married. A baby girl, Christina, came into their lives after Lucy found her at the Nurses' Ball. Unbeknownst to them, Julie Devlin was Christina's mother, and a bitter custody fight ensued. Lucy reacted angrily to Julie's visitation rights, Frank Scanlon's visitation rights, and the news that Scott had adopted Christina under his name, and couldn't under hers. When Julie kidnapped Christina and fled town, Lucy irrationally blamed Scott, and ended their relationship. They eventually divorced amicably, and she sees Serena Baldwin regularly.
In 1998, Julie was the prime suspect for the "General Homicide" murders as her father, a surgeon named Dr. Bennett Devlin died after having an argument with her. Nurse Grace Sullivan was strangled to death with her stethoscope while dressed as a clown. Jake Marshak was hung from the hospital rafters and Dr. Cassandra May was poisoned. John Kanelos was fatally stabbed with a sword while dressed as a knight during Matt Harmon and Ellen Burgess's Halloween party. Greg Cooper later confessed to Kevin that he brainwashed Julie to commit the murders for him.
After Kevin Collins and Lucy's wedding, Lucy learned Julie, (Kevin's mystery friend) had returned to town to give Christina to her other mother, because Julie had a terminal illness. Lucy tearfully agreed and promised that Christina would learn how much Julie loved her. Then Julie left town to die.
