Dr. Ken Martin, MD is a fictional character in the ABC daytime drama General Hospital.
He was played by Hunt Powers from 1963 to 1964.
In 1965, Ken appeared on The Young Marrieds.
Storylines[]
In 1963, Ken Martin was a doctor at General Hospital. Ken was seeing Cynthia Allison, a patient who went to college with fellow doctor Phil Brewer.
Phil tells Cynthia he does not care for Ken after being beaten out for a promotion by him. Phil’s wife Jessie isn’t so sure about Ken and Cynthia getting married after Dr. Steve Hardy tells her their plans. Phil tries to warn Cynthia that Ken doesn’t love her. Cynthia worries about the affair she is having with Phil and how it will affect Jessie.
In 1964, Jessie could take no more and filed for divorce. Then Jessie found out she was pregnant. Phil decided to save his marriage and left Cynthia for Jessie. Cynthia ended up marrying Ken and leaving town.
In 1965 on The Young Marrieds, Ken went to Queens Point when Dr. Dan Garret’s friend suggested Dan and his wife Susan take a trip like the one Ken and Cynthia had.
