Storylines[]
In 1965, Nurse Meg Quinton came to Port Charles with her young son, Scott "Scotty" Brian Bentley and teenage stepdaughter, Brooke Bentley after their father Lloyd died.
Attorney Lee Baldwin immediately liked Meg, but she became engaged to Dr. Noel Clinton. The day before Meg was to marry Noel, he eloped with Brooke who had secretly seduced him. Lee comforted Meg, and the two married in 1966. Lee adopted Scott; officially making him a Baldwin.
Lee and Meg briefly separated when she suspected him of having an affair with her nursing school friend Iris Fairchild, who was working for Lee as his secretary. They got back together after Lee donated his kidney to save Scott's life.
Brooke returned, divorced from Noel and came to live with Meg and Lee. Meg suffered a nervous breakdown from her jealousy over Brooke's youth and beauty, and her depression forced Lee to have her committed to an institution.
Upon her release, Dr. Lesley Webber was assigned to care for Meg. She then became jealous of Lesley, thinking that she was trying to get into Lee's bed.
Their marriage came to an unfortunate end when in 1973, during an argument with Lee, Meg died of a stroke.
