On February 10, 2019, it was announced that she would join the cast of General Hospital as Lorraine "Harmony" Miller, the ex-lover of "Dawn Of Day" cult leader Hank "Shiloh" Archer.[1] She made her first appearance on February 11, 2019. She later left the show on April 24, 2019.
On May 31, 2019, Soaps.com confirmed that Cadranel would return to GH as Harmony in June.[2] She returned on June 5, 2019.
After last appearing on September 30, 2019, Cadranel returned to the role on December 11, 2019.
Background
Harmony is the ex-girlfriend of Shiloh and part of his cult "Dawn of Day." After the relationship ended, she still loved him. She followed him to Port Charles and begged him to take her back. She even suggested that she move to Port Charles.
It is later revealed that she knows Willow Tait by her real name Kali Miller. Harmony and Willow both share the same last name but it's unknown if there is any familial connection there.
On April 23, 2019, Willow reveals that Harmony is indeed her mother.
On June 19, 2019, it is revealed that Harmony was married before she met Shiloh to Willowโs father, Douglas Miller. They divorced due to her affair with Shiloh and he was later forced out of Dawn of Day.
As of July 11, 2019, Harmony started going by her real name "Lorraine Miller" again and she turned against Shiloh after learning he was responsible for her husband Douglas Miller's death. However, on December 11, she went back to going by "Harmony" because she wanted to focus on the good she has done instead of the mistakes she made as Shiloh's right hand.
On March 13, 2020, it was revealed that Harmony was being blackmailed into working for imprisoned mob boss Cyrus Renault, who pulled some strings to get her released from Pentonville back in December of 2019.
Storylines
Harmony first appeared on February 11, 2019, when Jason Morgan went to Beechers Corners to find out information about an organization called Dawn of Day and their charismatic leader, Shiloh Archer. Jason sought out Harmony because his research had uncovered that she was a close ally of Shiloh's, and she had helped him build DOD, including the Beechers Corners branch. Before DOD, Harmony had been known as Lorraine Miller.
Harmony sang Shiloh's praises and talked about how she and Shiloh had built the local community center from the ground up. Jason was curious if Harmony and Shiloh were romantically involved, but she insisted that they were strictly business partners. She added that DOD was a family. When Jason expressed concern about Shiloh's relationship with new follower Kristina Corinthos-Davis, Harmony assured Jason that Shiloh's warmth and compassionate nature were often misunderstood. It was apparent that Harmony was rattled. Moments later, a local police officer warned Jason that he was not wanted in Beechers Corners.
After Jason left, it was clear that the police officer was sympathetic to DOD. Harmony called Shiloh to alert him that Jason Morgan had paid her a visit. A few days later, Harmony went to Port Charles to warn Shiloh that an "impish fellow" had shown up in Beechers Corners, asking questions. She was certain that Jason had hired the private detective. Shiloh was confident that he had everything well in hand, but Harmony cautioned Shiloh that his arrogance would be his downfall. Harmony worried that he would destroy everything that they had built, so she urged him to stay out of Jason Morgan's way and to leave Jason's ex-wife Sam McCall alone.
On March 13, Harmony returned to Port Charles to attend one of Shiloh's rallies. When they returned to the DOD house, Harmony broached the subject of moving to Port Charles to once again work with Shiloh. Shiloh insisted that she was needed in Beechers Corners then questioned why her chapter had not been taking in more money. Harmony was stunned by Shiloh's callousness, and she reminded him of everything that she had done for him. She showed him the large black symbol that she had tattooed on her lower back, prompting Shiloh to change his tune.
Shiloh assured Harmony that his love for her had only grown stronger. He insisted that it was "pure" and "spiritual," which immediately appeased Harmony. She conceded that she had always known that she would have to "share" Shiloh, but it had been difficult for her. Shiloh advised her to look into herself to find peace in her work. Shiloh shifted gears then asked if Harmony had heard from "her." Harmony appeared to tense, but she quietly shook her head and answered, "No."
A few weeks later, the woman Shiloh had referred to as "her" was revealed to be elementary school teacher Willow Tait. Willow had once been a member of DOD, known as Kali Miller, but she had fled the cult. On April 8, Harmony returned to Port Charles to help initiate Kristina into the elite DOD circle known as the Trust. Shiloh pulled Harmony aside to let her know that he had found Kali then explained that Kali had changed her name to Willow. Harmony seemed surprised, but it wasn't clear if it was because Willow had been found or if it was because Shiloh had found her. Later that evening, Harmony prepared Kristina for the initiation by readying the attic for the special ceremony that would include getting the tattoo that Harmony, Daisy, and Willow each sported on her lower back.
Kristina was unaware that another part of the ceremony would include having sex with Shiloh, but she willingly accepted the drink that Harmony promised would help Kristina relax during the final "reflection" period. Kristina drifted off to sleep, allowing Jason an opportunity to slip in and abduct her. Later, Harmony was forced to reveal that Kristina had vanished -- as had the cup that Kristina had drunk from. Shiloh was not pleased.
On April 23, Harmony tracked Willow down at Kelly's, but Willow was not happy to see her. Harmony admitted that Willow's new name was difficult to get used to, but she assured Willow that Willow would be welcomed back to DOD with open arms. Harmony added that Willow could teach the children, but Willow refused to teach Shiloh's dogma to young children. Willow was furious that her mother had not protected her from Shiloh and the cult.
On June 5, Harmony returned to Port Charles and was horrified that Shiloh had been attacked. Shiloh told her that he is a father and that he needed her help to do whatever it takes to find his child. She later visited Willow and learned by her reaction that the child was alive and that she lied about having a miscarriage. Unbeknownst to either one of them, Willow's baby with Shiloh really did die and was switched with Michael Corinthos' son Jonah. On June 10, Harmony falsely confessed to Shiloh's crimes so he could go free. On June 14, Harmony was remanded to Pentonville and met Nelle Benson.
On July 5, Jason posed as Harmony's lawyer so he could visit her in Pentonville and she learned that Shiloh was responsible for her husband Douglas Miller's death so she finally turned against him. She was temporarily released from Pentonville so she could give her official story to Commissioner Mac Scorpio and his brother D.A. Robert Scorpio. She also started going by her real name Lorraine Miller again and she made an effort to patch things up with Willow.
On July 19, Shiloh visited Lorraine in prison and assured her he made bail thanks to some followers remaining loyal plus he hoped she would follow their example. He told her that if she recanted everything she said about him he will use every resource possible to get her out and they can rebuild and continue "Dawn Of Day" together. Lorraine did not want to and she admitted she now sees him for who he is; a sexual predator. Lorraine tells Shiloh she is proud of Willow for escaping the cult and she also confessed that she will testify against him and sing like a bird at his trial, even calling him Hank in the process. She warned Hank to stay away from her, Willow, and her "grandson" before telling the guard they were done.
On September 19, Lorraine testified against Shiloh about everything she knew.
On September 30, Willow visited Lorraine in prison and learned that Shiloh is dead and that Sam killed him with a flare gun. Although she was relieved for Willow's and "Wiley's" sake that Shiloh could not hurt anyone else, she did feel a little remorse as she told Nelle about his death.
On December 11, it was revealed that Lorraine was released from Pentonville on early parole due to overcrowding. She went to see Willow in hopes of making amends and said that she tried to go back to being "Lorraine" but said she wasn't that person anymore and she wanted to focus on the good she did as "Harmony" even though she knew that Shiloh was a toxic and corrupt man. She wanted another chance to be a better mother to Willow, one that she deserves.
On December 30, Harmony saw Sam and Willow at Turning Woods and revealed that she got a job there. When they questioned her about receiving invitations to Shiloh's memorial, Harmony told them she had nothing to do with it and she later got invited herself.
On January 14, 2020, at Shiloh's memorial, it was revealed that prior to his death he married Nelle Benson who had just been released from prison on parole since she claimed to have stopped Ryan Chamberlain from escaping from jail. Harmony stood by Willow the whole time and saw Nelle for who she really was.
On March 13, it was revealed that the real reason Harmony was released from Pentonville on early parole was because of imprisoned mob boss Cyrus Renault, who was blackmailing her into working for him in return. He threatened Willow to keep Harmony in line and ordered her to be the go-between for him and Jordan Ashford. Cyrus ordered Harmony to blackmail Jordan into working for him by threatening to harm her (Jordan's) son T.J. if she didn't.
