Henry "Oz" Haggerty is a fictional character in the ABC daytime drama General Hospital.
He was portrayed by Max Faugno[1] on June 15, 2022 and returned from July 14-25, 2022. He was next on from August 12-16, 2022. He came back on October 6 and 10, 2022.
On June 14, 2022, Josslyn Jacks and Trina Robinson meet with Damian Spinelli to search for the store that Esme Prince's burner phone came from that was put in Trina's purse. Spinelli says that it never made to the store. Trina asks where Spinelli would go to buy a "hot" phone. He says The Highsider, a bar that two underage sleuths should not be. He tells them not to go there. After he leaves, Trina looks up the address on her phone and heads there with Josslyn.
A bouncer named Buck cards them and says their IDs are fake when they don't know what dimpled chads are. They confess they are there for fake IDs and unregistered phones and can pay in cash.
Storylines[]
Buck refers them to Oz Haggerty, the bartender. Josslyn says she needs IDs and an unregistered phone. Trina says that she heard Oz can hook them up. Oz wants to know who they heard this from and they look at Buck. Oz claims he might know a guy. He asks if they both want IDs. Josslyn says they do but they want the phone first with working email, internet, and a camera. She asks Oz if he has phones like that.
Oz says he can get them that kind of phone for a grand and asks if it will be a problem. Josslyn says no but Trina is hesitant as she claims they have been burned before and don't want to get scammed again. Their friend said she bought her phone at that bar and Trina wants to make sure they have the right guy. She shows Oz a picture of Esme on her phone and asks if he remembers selling a phone to her.
Oz says he sold Esme a phone a while back. She kind of had an attitude. Josslyn agrees that sounds like "Ezzie". She asks if Oz remembers Esme coming in last January. Oz nods and a patron named Mitch who was watching the discussion comes over and says he recognizes the two girls as they were all over the news. He says that Trina's father is a former cop. Oz slams his hands down on the counter and wants to know if this is a sting. Josslyn claims Mitch is making up this story.
Mitch calls Josslyn the PCU campus porn queen. Josslyn pushes him away and he grabs her arm. Buck tells Mitch to leave Josslyn alone and they fight. Buck throws Mitch into other patrons which starts a huge barfight as Josslyn and Trina stand stunned. Oz sneaks out the front door as the cops are heard arriving and Trina tells Josslyn that he is getting away. Josslyn says she doesn't care and they need to get out now.
Rory arrives on the scene and asks if Trina and Josslyn found a lead on Esme. Josslyn says she thinks they found the guy who sold Esme the phone used in the sex tape. Rory asks who he is but Trina says they don't know his name. Josslyn says he was about to ID Esme when the fight broke out and he slipped away. Trina says he was tending the bar and will be back as he works at the bar. Rory tells them not to be anywhere near the bar next time. Josslyn says they need to find the guy. Rory says he will ask about the bartender, get a name and description, and run it.
On July 13, Curtis tells Portia that Marshall's friend Jack found the bartender's name (Oz Haggerty) and apartment which was empty. Curtis is using a PI associate to find Oz's friends.
Curtis and Marshall find Oz in a motel. They claim to be there for fake phones but Oz says he is out of them and kicks the men out of his room. Marshall is mad they didn't get any information but Curtis gets the idea to follow Oz to the person who sold him Esme's black market phone. Oz goes to Pier 54 and catches a boat to Wyndemere. Once there he tells Esme that people are after him and he is gone by the time Ava gets to Wyndemere.
On July 22, Oz takes Esme to the new motel he is staying at. She attempts to seduce him and they kiss before he goes to get a drink at her request. She drugs his drink and he collapses next to her as Curtis knocks on the door since Selina gave him Oz's address. Esme hides in a closet as Curtis kicks down the door and discovers Oz unconscious on the couch. He calls the police and Esme escapes. Oz is taken to GH where T.J. has to put him in a medical coma. Curtis hangs around Oz's room in hopes he will wake up.
On August 12, Jordan hits the emergency button in the hospital elevator and Rory is called away from guarding Oz's room. Portia sneaks in and injects Oz which wakes him up. Portia questions him but he wants his lawyer. During Trina's trial, Robert comes in and says Oz has a key statement after the judge had refused Diane's request for Oz to appear in court. The jury had already made their decision and Diane wasn't sure if Oz remembered anything. Oz is brought into the courtroom and testifies that he sold Esme the black market phone and never sold one to Trina. The charges against Trina are dropped.
On October 6, Oz interrupts Robert and Jordan at the P.C.P.D. to ask if they found Esme yet. He says they owe him after he testified to help Trina. Jordan threatens to charge him with extortion for working with Esme. Oz helped exonerate Trina and will sue Robert and Jordan if they don't honor his original immunity deal. He mentions graduating from law school for emphasis. Oz signs his immunity agreement and looks at it on Pier 55 as he thinks about doing the bar exam. Oz is suddenly stabbed and killed by The Hook. Later it is revealed Esme was hiding from the police and she had stolen Oz's wallet off his corpse.
