History

On October 28, 2013 on General Hospital, Sam McCall and Silas Clay go to NYC to investigate Ava Jerome's past to see if she is related to Sam. They arrive at Ryan's Bar where Ava used to take Silas back when he was studying. The waitress Delia Ryan Coleridge initially denies any relationship to the Jerome family, but eventually admits that she is Ava's mother, but that she did not raise her. Sam and Silas tell Delia that she has a granddaughter, Kiki Jerome, and Delia tells them to let Kiki know where she can find her grandmother.

On August 5, 2015 at a Five Families meeting held in Ryan's Bar, Sonny Corinthos says there is a traitor in the group. Serge eventually admits they are in the Jerome family. Sonny suddenly shoots Serge. Since Serge violated his alliance, Sonny was declared within his rights to exact justice as he saw fit.

On September 14, 2020, Nina Reeves and Jasper Jacks arrive at Ryan's Bar. She tells him about how her husband Silas worked at the hospital across the street and he liked to visit the bar with Ava while they had an affair.

Valentin Cassadine and Anna Devane at Ryan's Bar (2021)

On July 15, 2021, Valentin and Anna stop at Ryan's Bar on their way to New York Methodist Hospital to search for Peter's helicopter pilot David Hopkins. Anna says a woman named Maeve is singing "Danny Boy" in the back.

On July 16, Anna finds out from Human Resources at the hospital that David is across the street at Ryan's Bar.
