Nurse Sharon Pinkham is a fictional character in the ABC daytime drama General Hospital.
She was played by Sharon DeBord from 1965 to 1974.
Storylines[]
Henry Pinkham was a shy doctor at General Hospital who meets nurse Sharon McGillis. In 1967, he asks Sharon out lunch and agrees to pay for it if she doesn't get into trouble by Nurse March. She argues that she won because he got her in trouble with Nurse March by talking with her. He agrees to buy her a burger. Later they marry in secret because Henry’s uncle doesn’t want him to marry. For a while only Steve Hardy knew about the marriage but when everyone else found out, they were happy for the couple.
After their child is born, Sharon has a hard time returning to work. She is upset when Henry hires Nurse Linda Cooper and she divorces Henry when she meets another man and leaves town to care for her mother.
