Tabyana Ali is an African-American television actress known for her portrayal of Trina Robinson in the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital.
Life and career[]
On March 4, 2022, it was announced that Sydney Mikayla was leaving the show to focus on college and the role was recast with actress Tabyana Ali. Mikayla's final air-date was March 17, 2022. Ali's first air-date was March 25, 2022.
In 2022, Tabyana's released the children's book, "My Flower Child" (purchase here), about a mother expressing her love for her daughter. "It doesn't matter if you're 2 or 102. This book is about the bond between a mother and her daughter and the experiences shared together."
My Super B (2023)
On July 28, 2023, Ali announced her latest children's book, "My Super B" is out now! It tells the story of an adventurous young super-heroine who achieves all of her wildest dreams, with her supportive mom right there cheering her on every step of the way.[1][2][3]

On September 5, it was announced that Ali will be part of the charity "Saving Our Daughters" ABC Network short series special that airs starting September 8th, 2023.[4] She joins actresses Sway Bhatia, Emily Liu-Wang, and Tisha Custudio, in bringing the mini-series to select ABC markets in the United States. Focusing on the "Celebrity God Parents" program advocating for mental health.

Ali shared that she screen-tested with Donnell Turner who portrays Curtis Ashford and she had tried out for Trina three years ago. It was down to her, Sydney Mikayla (who won), and Raven Bowens (the current Chanel Dupree on "Days of Our Lives").[5]
