Teen Time Sports Center was a local sports center in Port Charles.

History

Upset by the degradation on The Waterfront, Rick Webber founds a sports center, "Teen Time" to give kids a place to go rather than hang out on the streets and get into trouble. Blackie Parrish is a big help in getting this center off the ground. There was also a TV program called Teen Time.

In 1982, boxer Johnny Morrissey plans to have a boxing match at the Sports Center to attract more young people to the location. He ends up the champion. George Durnely was a mob boss on the docks who owned the land the Sports Center was on. He offered Johnny a job and is turned down. Rick Webber is knocked out by men who were after Johnny's trainer Packy Moore. It is discovered that Packy's sponge that was used during Johnny's matches was being drugged for Durnely. Rick became Johnny's new manager. Hand tells Johnny to throw a fight or Packy will die. Johnny tells Rick who threatens Hand. Later Packy confesses that he knew his friend, a boxer named Buster Jacobs, drugged the sponge. Buster collapses in pain when with Packy and he is taken to the hospital. A nurse injects Buster in his room and he is killed.

In 1985, Josh Clayton is mistaken for Frisco Jones as Josh is wearing Frisco’s Teen Time jacket. Kim Wu laced the jacket with cyanide which kills Josh.
