  • On June 30, 2022, it was revealed Finn Francis Carr will be debuting as Rocco Falconeri on July 1, 2022. He was last seen on December 22, 2021 being portrayed by Brady Bauer.
  • On June 27, 2022 Lexi Ainsworth posted an Instagram story picture of her in the Prospect studios meaning Kristina Corinthos-Davis is returning soon. She was last seen on February 4, 2022.
  • On June 23, 2022 it was revealed that Susan Batten is coming to GH the week of July 5, 2022, as a character named Flora Gardens.
  • On June 23, 2022 it was revealed that Morgan Fairchild is coming to GH the week of July 5, 2022, as guest character Haven de Havilland. She was previously on GH as her character from "The City", Sydney Chase, in October 1996.
  • On May 27, 2022, it was announced that Dirk Ellis will return to GH in an unknown role. He has portrayed various police officers since 2013.

It is said that his character will not be recast, but that the door will still be open for him to return in the future. Jackson's real life son Titus, who plays Aiden Spencer, will remain on the show.
  • Ingo Rademacher, who plays Jasper Jacks, will return to GH right around New Years.
  • Brian Frons, President of ABC Daytime, has stepped down. He will completely leave ABC when his contract expires in January 2012. Vicki Dummer replaces him.

  • Roger Howarth, who plays Todd Manning, has signed a contract with GH and will return on May 9.
  • Congratulations to Haley Pullos, who plays Molly Lansing-Davis, on winning two awards at the Young Artist Awards. Pullos won in the Guest Starring Young Actress 11-13 category for her role in House, and for Best Performance In A Daytime TV Series, for GH.
  • Christopher B. Duncan is portraying the role of D.A. Campbell, the prosecuting attorney in Starr's and Maxie's court cases.
  • Kristina Corinthos-Davis has been recast with actress Lindsey Morgan. She makes her debut May 25.
  • There will be no original GH episode on Monday, May 28 due to the Memorial Day holiday. A repeat of the April 18, 2012 episode (when Jason finds out the truth about Franco) will air instead.

  • Bruce Weitz, who plays Anthony Zacchara, will officially leave the show in early June.
  • Nathin Butler, who plays Ewen Keenan, has been dropped to recurring status.
  • Actor Erik Valdez will join the cast of GH as the producer of Kristina Corinthos-Davis' reality show Mob Princess on June 11.

  • Jen Ray returned as Chelsea Lam from May 11-12, 2022. She was last seen on August 21, 2019.
  • Dan Buran returned as Linc Brown, on May 17, 2022. He was last seen on November 12, 2021.
  • On May 19, 2022, it was announced that Kelly Monaco's house caught fire and suffered serious damage on May 13, 2022. An investigation is underway for the culprit.
  • Jacklyn Zeman returned as Nurse Bobbie Spencer, on May 19, 2022. She was last seen on January 20, 2022.
  • On May 19, 2022, it was announced that Nancy Lee Grahn's daughter has Covid and Alexis Davis may be recast again.
  • Réal Andrews returned as Lt. Marcus Taggert, on May 20, 2022. He was last seen March 28th, 2022.
  • Nancy Lee Grahn returned as Alexis Davis on May 24, 2022. Stephanie Erb temporarily portrayed Alexis from April 26, 2022-May 10, 2022, as Grahn was recovering from back surgery.
  • Charles Shaughnessy returned as Dr. Victor Cassadine on May 26, 2022. Victor was last seen on April 11, 2022 as Shaughnessy was recovering from February hip surgery.
  • Christopher Van Etten left on May 31, 2022, as his character Chet Driscoll relocated out of state for a new job. Van Etten and his family moved from California to Illinois. As of now there are no plans to recast.

  • Robert Adamson began temporarily portraying Michael Corinthos, on June 1, 2022, while Chad Duell is out for Covid related issues.
  • Josh Kelly debuted as new character Cody Bell, on June 1, 2022. He is on contract.
  • Joshua James Benard returned as Adam, for one episode on June 3, 2022. He first appeared on March 16, 2022.
  • Gregory Harrison is now on contract as Prof. Gregory Chase, as revealed in the end credits on June 3, 2022.
