The Wyndemere Parapet is located at Wyndemere Castle on Spoon Island, on the outskirts of Port Charles. It is notorious as a location where multiple people have fallen from.

In May 1998, Stefan Cassadine held the traditional Cassadine family Bacchanalia Ball at Wyndemere Castle to announce his engagement to Katherine Bell, while Luke Spencer and Alexis Davis planned to use the party as a diversion to kill fellow guest, Stefan's mother, Helena Cassadine. While masked, Luke loosened the railing of a parapet so that Alexis could lure Helena into falling to her death. However, it was Katherine who was killed after she fell instead. Helena then managed to take Katherine's body and gave her an experimental medicine that brought her back to life. Ironically, about a year later, Helena pushed Katherine down that very same parapet to end her life for good after Katherine and her grandson Nikolas Cassadinefell in love.
In November 2007, while terrorizing everyone during The Black and White Ball at Wyndemere, Anthony Zacchara jumped from the parapet and was shot by Jason Morgan as well as breaking his back, leaving him temporarily paralyzed.
In March 2014, Brad Cooper is pushed off the parapet by Liesl Obrecht who was worried he would reveal that her grandson Ben Westbourne is Lulu Spencer and Dante Falconeri's son. Brad's fall was broken by a hay bale as there was a party happening at the time. In July 2019, Brad gets his revenge by pushing Liesl off the Haunted Star and nearly drowning her.
In January 2020, Valentin Cassadine planned to host to his own wedding to Nina Reeves at Wyndemere. Nina teamed with Jasper Jacks who revealed that Nikolas was still alive and searching for a codicil to his grandfatherMikkos Cassadine's will that would return everything to Nikolas if Valentin should make a play for the Cassadine estate. After Valentin unknowingly sold the codicil to Ava Jerome, he attempted to blackmail her into turning it over on the wedding day. When Ava refused, Valentin attempted to kill her by pushing her off of the parapet at Wyndemere as Valentin's daughter Charlotte Cassadine secretly witnessed them. Ava was soon rescued from the water by Nikolas who revealed himself during the ceremony.
In December 2020, after Julian Jerome plants a bomb at the Floating Rib, on the orders of Cyrus Renault, he flees to Wyndemere, begging his sister Ava to hide him until he can leave town. Learning her brother's role in the bombing and knowing mobstersSonny Corinthos and Jason Morgan would come after him, Ava decided to kill Julian herself. Ava, coldly marched Julian outside to the parapet at Wyndemere and just as she was about to pull the trigger, Sonny and Jason show up, distracting Ava long enough for Julian to jump. He survives the fall after briefly being knocked unconscious, and flees town with Sonny and Jason not far behind.
On June 1, 2022, Esme is forced to hide on the parapet in her underwear, so as to not be caught by Ava. Ava and Spencer had nearly walked in on her and Nikolas having sex, Ava is suspicious when she hears Esme, and Nikolas convinces her there are bats on the parapet.
In August 2022, Ava grabs an envelope with a letter that Esme was writing to her nanny Maggie Fitzgerald. They fight for the letter and end up on the parapet where Esme grabs the letter and falls off the edge just as Nikolas arrives.
On New Years Eve 2022, Esme set fire to the storage room using a match in order to escape Nikolas, then she intentionally falls off the parapet into the ocean.
On Christmas Eve 2023, having had a memory flash through her amnesia earlier in the evening, Esme breaks into Wyndemere and walks around, finding herself on the parapet. It is here that her full memory returns as does her personality.
